Abstract:A new N-isobutylamide, (2E, 4E, 8Z) -N-isobutyltetradecatrienamide, along with two known amides and
N-methylfiindersine, was isolated from the fruits of Phellodendron chinense Schneid. They are responsible for
insecticidal and antifeedantal activities in the fruit.
