Abstract:SIOC0172 is the 2-pyrimidinyloxy-N-arylbenzylamine novel herbicide in paddy. The absorption and translocation in plant, raining tolerance, application timing and environmental temperature effect on its bioactivity were carried out by the traditional bioassay methods here. The results showed that SIOC0172 was mainly taken up by buds, radicles, roots, stems and leaves and translocated in plant acropetally within the xylem. The inhibition rate of corn fresh weight was 85%-98% on different time of simulate rainfalls after the herbicide treatment, which indicated rainfall had little influence on the bioactivity of SIOC0172 and had good rainwashing tolerance. The most suitable application time of SIOC0172 was from 1 to 4-leaf stage of the targeted weeds, and more than 5-leaf stage of rice. The ED50 values of SIOC0172, which were 0.50-1.01mg/L at temperature from 15 to 35℃, showed environmental temperature had little influence on herbicidal activity of SIOC0172. These results showed that SIOC0172 have good absorption and translocation, the activity can stably play in different environment conditions, and the application timing was longer.
