Abstract:Developmental time, pupation rate, body weight, the contents of lipid and carbohydrate contents in hemolymph of 5th instar larvae of Ostrinia furnacalis Guenée treated with sublethal concentration of fenoxycarb and tebufenozide were determined. The LC30, LC20 and LC10 of fenoxycarb were 22.23, 14.75 and 4.37μg/mL, and those of tebufenozide were 48.20, 37.11 and 21.73μg/mL, respectively. The developmental time of 5th instar larvae of O.furnacalis treated with LC30 sublethal concentration of fenoxycarb extended to 8.33±0.69 days. For treatment with LC30 sublethal concentration of tebufenozide, however, the developmental time shortened to 5.49±0.66 days. Body weight and pupation rate of 5th instar larvae of O.furnacalis treated with LC30 sublethal concentration of fenoxycarb and tebufenozide decreased significantly(P<0.01), and the contents of lipid, protein and carbohydrate in hemolymph were lower than those of control group(P<0.01). Meanwhile, the synthesis of storage protein in hemolymph was inhibited.
