Abstract:Strubes Dickkopf, an international differential for race of Puccinia striiformis West. was crossed with susceptible cultivar Taichung29 to conceive the near isogenic lines of Taichung29*6/Strubes Dickkopf. By monosomic analysis and chromosomal location, the major gene associated with the resistance of Taichung29*6/Strubes Dickkopf was conducted. The results indicated that the resistance of Taichung29*6/Strubes Dickkopf to CY26 was controlled by a pair of dominant genes, named as YrSD, which were located on the 4B chromosome, and the YrSD was a new different resistant gene compared with Yr25.
