Abstract:Pathways of Ca2+ movement in young fruit tissue of apple and its regulation by hormones were probed by using 45Ca tracer technology, 45Ca micro autoradiography and X ray microanalysis etc. The results showed that Ca2+ entering into fruit pulp tissue in apoplasmic pathway was not completely prevented by the epidermis of fruit, and Ca2+ moved from fruit surface into pulp tissue in both apoplasmic and symplasmic pathways, mainly via apoplasmic. Ca2+ radial transport in fruit tissue could be accelerated by IAA,GA and NAA. It seemed that Ca2+ movement in symplasmic pathway were mainly promoted by IAA and NAA, while that in apoplasmic pathway by GA.
