havebecomeextinctinitstypelocality,theYueluMountainofChangsha,capitalofHunanProvince.
Hence,torecoverthepopulationsinthetypelocality,several犃.狊犻狀犻犪狀狌狊plantsweretransplantedback
totheYueluMountainfromShashiTownofLiuyangCity.Themorphologicalstudiesshowthatinprevi
ousliteraturestherearesomeinaccuratedescriptionsofthisspecies,suchasthedescriptionsofitsbasilar
leaves,plantheight,stemleaves,paleatesandaltitude,etc.Basedontheobservationofitsmorphological
traits,thispaperstudiedthesystematicstatusof犃.狊犻狀犻犪狀狌狊,anditskaryotypewasreportedforthefirst
timeaswel.Theresearchresultsshowthat犃.狊犻狀犻犪狀狌狊isdiploidswithakaryotypeformula2n=2x=
16m+2m(SAT),belongedto1Atype.Thepaperprovidessomevaluableinformationfortherevisionofits
