Abstract:Sixty wild species and cultivars of L ilium ssp. were analyzed by RAPD. 22 random primers generated 224 bands in total, and 163 bands showed polymorphism, the average polymorphism rate was 72.77%. The dendrogram of the 60 lilymaterialswas generated byUPGMA (Unweighted Pair-group Method Arithmetic Average) method, and was divided into two groups. The first group included Longiflorum ×Asiatic hybrids, wild species, Asiatic hybrids, Trumpet hybrids, Oriental ×Trumpet hybrids, which was further divided into two subgroups. The second group was the clustering of L. speciosum , Longiflorum hybrids and Oriental hybrids. In addition, the Oriental hybrids were also divided into two small group s. Based on the results, the relationship between the groups, or subgroups, and the origin and derivation of the cultivars were analyzed. The 60 materialswere finally classified into 14 groups. It was found, by statistical analysis, that the genetic similarity between the groups presented an opposite trend with their genetic distance.
