Abstract:The leaf morphology of the main species in the evergreen broad-leaved forest dominated by Cyclobalanopsis glauca was ellips roughly, and the area was between 15- 40 cm2/leaf. The leaves belong to middle and small type leaf; The size of the leaves in a tree were in conformity to the normal distribution except for Lithocarpus; The leaf size of the main species was C. glauca (dominant species) > L. glaber (sub-dominant species) > other species, that was an ecological adaptation in the community structure differentiation, i.e. they have the different "growth strateges" of the species; The leaf size of the same specis was upper layer individiual leaves < middle layer individual leaves; The leaf size reached the first peak during the spring-summer and the second peak during late autumn-winter, the specific weight of the leaf was higher in autumn and winter than in spring and summer, that was the adaptation of the evergreen trees to the seasonal unfavorabale climate.
