Abstract:Energy crisis is a critical chalenge for social sustainable development worldwide. The utilization of rural discarded biomass energy could partially substitute the limited fossil energy. It can offer materials for the livestock and promote the healthy agro-ecological cycling. The present study was conducted in a typical agronomic village in Yimeng Mountainous Region of Shandong Province. Based on an investigation of crop residues production and utilization, a high biomass energy use efficiency experiment was designed as a model of “Crop stalks - Meet cattle - Biogas from cattle dung - Green fertilizer”.
