Abstract:Potential photosynthesis and photosynthetic acclimation in response to decreasing growth-irradiance were determined for two species in the family Magnoliaceae adapted to different light conditions, with Michelia meachurei being light-demanding while Parakmeria lotungensis shade-tolerant.
