Abstract:The pot and plot experiments to study the effect of sewage sludge compost and sewage sludge compound fertilizers on vegetables yield and heavy metal accumulation in vegetables. The results showed that sewage sludge compound fertilizer increased the vegetable yield and the heavy metal (copper, zinc and cadmium) contents in the esculent part of vegetables were lower than those of the national control standard, but the lead contents in the cauliflower and lettuce were higher than the national control standard.
