Abstract:ThestructurecharactersofPinustabulaeformisnaturalforestonXiaolongMountain,GansuProvincewas
studiedbyfixedsamplesurveyofeachtreepositioningdatawithstatisticalsoftware,theresultshowedthatthetree
compositionofPinustabulaeformisnaturalforestwasabundants,therehad18treespeciesincommunitydominated
byP.tabulaeformis,however,thedegreeoftreespeciessegregationwaslowerandtheaveragevalueofmingling
wasweak.Thediameteratbreastheight(DBH)distributionofforeststandfolowedamultishapedpeakcurveand
theDBHdistributionofP.tabulaeformispopulationapproximatedtonormaldistributionanditwaswelfitedby
Weibulfunction,thetreeheightincreasedwiththetreeDBHincreasingandtherelationshipbetweentreeheight
andDBHwaswelfitedbypowerfunction.TheindividualsizeofDBH,treeheightandcrownwidthofP.tabulae
formisinstandwassignificantlydiferentiated;theaveragestatebelongedtomedium.Boththehorizontaldistribu
tionpaternsofstandandP.tabulaeformispopulationwererandomdistributed.
