Cerasus campanulata var . wuyiensis , a New Variety
of Rosaceae in Wuyi Mountain

Abstract : Cerasuscampanulata var. wuyiensis, a newvariety of Cerasuscampanulata (Rosaceae) inWuyi Montain is de-
scribed and illustrated . Thenewvariety is related to C. campanulata, but differs in theyoungbranches, petiolesandpedi-
cels spreading hairs, both pedicels and peduncles longer , and the sepals reverse-coiled conspicuously .

In the springof 2006 , one kind of Cerasuswithverybright
rose-red flowers were collected in Wuyi Mountain . This kind of
cherrywas easy misidentified as the Cerasus campanulata . After
morphological study, literature researches, and examination of
many specimens, we haveconcludedthat it representsa newvar-
iety of C. campanulata .

Species C. campanulata affinis, sed juvenlis camlis, petiolis
et pedicelis pilosis, pedunclis 0.5 - 1.5 cmlongis, pilosis; pedicelis
1.2 - 2 cm longis, pilosis; calycibus red-purplis, 0.6 - 0 .8×0.3
cm, pilosis; sepalis 0.4 - 0.5×0.3 cm, reverse-coiled differt .
Morphological differences between C. campanulatavar. wu-
yiensis and C. campanulata is given in Table1 .

与钟花樱 Cerasus campanulata主要区别在于本变种嫩
枝、叶柄、花梗明显披毛 ; 总梗明显 , 花梗较长 ; 花型开
展 , 萼片长 , 盛开时有明显的反卷现象。喜生于海拔 300
～900 m常绿阔叶林林缘或向阳坡地及路边 , 零星分布。
