Abstract:This study shows that the aqueous decoction of the sesidue after alcoholic treatment of Acanthopanax giraldii increases the coronary flow of isolated guinea pig heart, prolongs the latent period of arrhythmia caused by aconitine in rats, and turns the arrhythmia caused by BaCl2 in rats and by chloroform extract of bufo raddei strauch in isolated guined-pig heart as well as in cats into normal sinus rhythm, but the maintaining time is short.
