Five newly-recorded species in the genus
Nitzschia from China

Abstract　When nanodiatoms(<20μm)in the sonthern coastal w aters of China w ere stud-
ied using tansmission elect ron microscopy (TEM), f ive species in the genus Nitzschia were
identified new to China.They were N .agnita Hustedt , N.aurariae Cholnoky , N .lacu-
um H.Lange-Bertalot , N.perspicua Cholnoky and N .pubens Cholnoky.

摘要　利用透射电镜(TEM)研究我国南海近岸水中的微型硅藻时 ,发现了菱形藻属 Nitzschia Hassall在
我国首次记录的 5 个种 ,它们是:趋光菱形藻 N.agnita Hustedt ,金色菱形藻 N.aurariae Cholnoky ,沟坑
菱形藻 N.lacuum H.Lange-Bertalot , 极细菱形藻 N.perspicua Cholnoky 和绒毛菱形藻 N.pubens Chol-
noky 。

微型浮游生物(<20 μm)在初级生产力中占有很重要的比例 ,微型硅藻是微型浮游
生物中重要的一员。在近岸水域 ,菱形藻属 Nitzschia Hassall是常见的种类之一 ,我们利
用透射电镜(TEM)研究我国南海近岸水中的微型硅藻时 ,发现了菱形藻属在我国首次记
录的 5个种 ,现分别描述如下:
1　趋光菱形藻　图 1:1

壳面棱形 ,两端延长 ,长 10.3 μm ,宽 2.6 μm 。10 μm 内有点条纹 36条 ,船骨点 14
点 ,等距离排列 。
采自湛江 ,西沙群岛 ,曾记录于欧洲大西洋近岸的海水 ,半咸水和淡水里。

壳面长椭圆形 ,两侧仅略鼓出 ,端宽圆 ,长7 μm ,宽 2.6μm ,10μm内有点条纹 45条 ,
船骨点 14点。
K.Krammer和 H.Lange-Bertalot(1988)记录本种 10μm 内有点条纹 46 ～ 53条 ,船
骨点 13 ～ 18点 ,比 N.communis Rabenhorst(点条纹 28 ～ 38条 ,船骨点 10 ～ 14点)(图1:
3)和 N .ovalis Arnot t ex Grunow(点条纹 42条 ,船骨点 12 ～ 16点)(图 1:4)的数目多 ,而
且这两种的壳面虽也是线椭圆形 ,但其壳端较明显地变狭 。M.Coste 和 M .Ricard
(1980)给出的 N .communis(图版 3/35 , 36)10 μm 内有点条纹 53条 ,船骨点 20 点 , N .
alexandrina(p.188 ,3/35 , 36)10μm 内有点条纹 46 ～ 48条 ,船骨点 15 ～ 16点。所以我们
认为这 3种之间的区分不容易 ,现仅按照 K.Krammer 和 H.Lange-Bertalo t(1988)的图 ,
壳端几乎不变狭 ,订立本种名 。
采自海南岛的三亚近岸。
3　沟坑菱形藻 　图 1:5

壳面舟形 ,端略延长或呈头状 。长 8.8 ～ 10 μm ,宽 2.2 ～ 2.5μm 。壳面点条纹10μm
35 ～ 44条 ,船骨点相距均等 ,没有较宽的中节 , 10μm 16 ～ 21点。
K.Krammer和 H.Lange-Bertalot(1988)记录本种壳面长 10 ～ 20 μm ,宽 2 ～ 3μm , 10
μm 内有点条纹 35 ～ 40条 ,船骨点 13 ～ 18点。比较而言 ,本种比 N.agni ta 的点条纹和
船骨点的数目多 。
采自广东省汕头近岸半咸水中 ,本种首次记录于德国。
4　极细菱形藻　图 1:6

壳面长舟形 ,中部两侧近乎平行 ,壳端变狭 ,钝。长 12.9 μm ,宽 2.4 μm 。壳面上的
横点条纹 10 μm内 50条 ,船骨突位于边缘 ,船骨点 10 μm 内 20 点[ K.Krammer 和 H .
Lange-Bertalot(1988)记录 10 μm 内点条纹 50条 ,船骨点 15 ～ 17(20)点] 。
采自海南省的三亚。欧洲近岸的海水中曾有记载 。
5　绒毛菱形藻　图 1:7

壳面椭圆形 ,端延长呈嘴状 ,长 6.5 μm ,宽 2.7 μm 。壳面上的点条纹 10 μm 内 38
条 ,船骨点 10μm 内 17点[Archibald(1983)记录 10 μm内点条纹 38 ～ 40条 ,船骨点 12 ～
16点] 。
采自广东省汕头近岸半咸水中 ,本种曾记录于南非的森迪斯(Sundays)河及河口水域
中。
