Abstract:Seven diterpenoid alkaloids were isolated from the aerial parts of Delphinium grandiflorum L., including six known ones as anhweidelphinine (Ⅰ), 14-dehydrodelcosine (Ⅱ), delsoline (Ⅲ), methyllycaconitine (Ⅳ), lycoctonine (Ⅴ) and delphatine (Ⅵ). The compound Ⅶ, which is now referred to as grandiflorine, is a new alkaloid and its structure was determined by means of spectral analysis and chemical transformation as well.
