Abstract:Choice responses of adults of skipper cheese, Piophila casei to pupae, n\|hexane extract of pupae, and puparium, were conducted in laboratory. Pupae and its extract could attract significantly both males and females. Dose\|response results showed that male responses increased, but female responses decreased with pupae amount. The extract showed significant attractive effect to both sexes at the concentration of 5-12.5 pupae equivalent per milliliter, but expelling effect to males at the concentration of 2.5 pupae equivalent per milliliter. The female\|puparium demonstrated significant attraction for both sexes, and male\|puparium only for male adults.
