Abstract:In order to determine the effects of NH4HCO3, CuSO4·5H2O, CsCl and NH4NO3 on eggs, egg masses hatching and 2nd instar larval (J2) survival of Meloidogyne incognita, these salts with different concentrations and time were tested in the laboratory using dipping method. The results showed that inorganic salts had strong inhibition to eggs, egg masses hatching and lethal to J2. The hatching ratio and J2 mortality were significantly enhanced with the increase of treating concentrations and time. 0.05 mol/L NH4HCO3 demonstrated the highest inhibition effect on egg masses hatching with the inhibition ratio 81.17% after 16 h and 100% after 24 h, respectively. 0.05 mol/L NH4HCO3 also showed the high inhibition effect to egg hatching with 93.33% inhibition ratio treated after 16 h and 100% after 24 h. Inorganic salts with different concentrations and time had lethal effects to J2 and had different LC50. CuSO4·5H2O showed the smallest LC50, and NH4HCO3 and CsCl the second. These results demonstrated that CuSO4· 5H2O had the strongest lethal effect to J2 of M.incognita. And J2 of M.incognita had the highest sensitivity to CsCl.
