Abstract:In Arabidopsis,the MADS-box protein encoded by FLOWREING LOCUS C(FLC) is a repressor of flowering.Vernalization promotes flowering in some late-flowering ecotypes and many late-flowering mutants by decreasing the level of FLC transcript and protein in the
