[Abstract] Secondarymetabolitesareproducedduringthegrowthanddevelopmentofplantsalongwiththeadaptationofouter

isquitecomplex,theproductionandaccumulationofsecondarymetabolitesareinfluencedbyvariousbioticandabioticfactorseither
fromgeneorenvironments,thecomplexitymayafectqualitycontrolofcrudedrugsandutilizationoftheactiveingredients.The
thoughtandapproachadoptedinsystemsbiologyisapowerfultooltoexplorebiologyfuly,alongwiththedevelopmentofmodernmo
lecularbiologyandinformationbiology,omicsintegrationlikegenomics,transcriptomics,proteomics,andmetabolomicswilbringnew
opportunitiesforthestudyofsecondarymetabolitesofmedicinalplant.Ithasgreatsignificancetoapplythisholisticandsystematic
methodinresearchesonbiosyntheticpathway,signaltransduction,ecologicalenvironmentandmetabolicengineeringoftheformationof
thesecondarymetabolitesofmedicinalplants,andinbuildingsecondarymetabolitebiosynthesisgeneexpressionandregulationsystem
model,inordertoexplaintheoriginoftheactiveingredientsofmedicinalplants,formationmechanismoftheChineseherbs,metabolic
engineeringefectingactiveingredientsofmedicinalplants,andtherationalexploitationandutilizationofresourcesofmedicinalplants
systematicaly.
