Abstract:Several compounds eharacterised as protoeatechuic acid, caffeic acid, syriugin, rotundic acid and pcdunculoside were isolated from the leaves of Ilex chinensis, a Chinese crude drug. A novel compound cyelohexanone pedunculosyl-3,23-O-acetal was identified and proposed as a pedunculoside derivative produced in the extracting procedure.
