摘 要 ：初步论述了中药资源学的概念、性质、任务、研究范围、学科产生的历史背景及发展中的若干问题。它是研究中药资源的开发利用和科学管理的一门综合性学科。其目的是掌握资源的动态规律,谋取更多更好的中药材原料,为医疗临床及制药工业服务。

Abstract:The author attempts to elucidate the concept, properties, tasks, scope, historical background and some problems in developing the Resourceology of Chinese Medicinal Materials, a comprehensive subject which deals with the development, utilization and management of resources of Chinese medicinal materials. The major aim is to provide more and better Chinese crude drugs for clinical and pharmaceutical purposes.
