摘 要 ：生态屏障建设是长江上游乃至我国有关省 (市、区 )政府工作的重要任务之一 ,而“生态屏障”一词也已成为我国新闻媒体中出现频次最多的新词组之一。但是 ,什么叫生态屏障 ,如何建设生态屏障等诸多相关问题 ,至今在学术界尚无统一的认识 ,不同行业和不同学者都在努力探索。就“生态屏障”一词的来源、概念、功能和特点等进行了阐述 ,并以长江上游为例 ,对长江上游生态屏障的分区与功能 ,以及生态屏障建设的内容、存在的问题及相关的对策等进行了讨论。

Abstract:The Yangtze River is an important economic lifeline in China. The health of the ecosystem on its upper reaches is very significant for the sustainable development of the whole basin.
