中 国 龙 胆 属 植 物 研 究 (四 )

“ 中国龙胆属植物研究 ” 一文共分四部分 。 前三部分是新种和新变种
的记载 , 分别刊登在 “ 植物分类学报” 、 “ 植物研究 ” 和 “ 高原生物学集
刊 ” 上 。 本文是第四部分 , 其内容是属内次级分类系统的排列及其分类依
据 。 至于本属种类的地理分布以及各组间的亲缘关系将另文讨论 。
一、 属 的 范 .
龙胆属 G e o t i a 称 a ( T o u r n 。 ) L . 是 T o u r n e f e r o t ( 1 7 0 0 ) 为纪念传说
中的 川 yr ia 国王 G e nt iu : 而建立的 , 对它作了描述 , 绘有墨线图。 林奈
在 “ 植物属志 ” ( 1 7 3 7 ) , “ 植物种志 ” ( 1 7 5 3 ) 承认了该属 , 并重新进
行了描述 , 记载 23 种 。 他依据花冠裂片的数目、 形状等把龙胆属分为三群
、
(未命名 ) , 同时把 C e ” ta u r i o m 二 i o u s T o u r n . 并人该属。 与现 代 龙 胆
属的概念相比较 , 他们的描述 (从略 ) 是不精确的 , 属的范围 是 不 严 格
的 。
迄今为止 , 二百多年来至少有 40 多位中外植物分类学家研究过 龙胆
属 。 他们不仅发表了大量新种 , 而且对属的范围进行了不断的划分 。 一些
学者持狭义的观点 , 主张将龙胆属分为若干小属 , 另一些学者则持广义的

本文是 ` 中国植物志 口 第 62 卷 (龙胆科 )的郁分摘录。 该卷的初稿承浪吴征悦旅授 、 肠崖承付
教授详细审阅。 在修改过程中肠先生给予 了热 心的指导和 带助 . 借此机会 , 再一次向两位先生 表
示衷心份 t 。
观点 , 主张建立属下等级 , 而不必分为若干蕊 这样两种观点直到今天也
未曾得到过完全的统一。 究其原因 , 一是本属种类多 , 类型复杂 , 二是由
于历史的和地理的原因 , 各研究者占有的资料是不完整的 , 因而对属的范
`围就不可能有精确的限定。 不过 , 随着研究的深入 , 已使本属的范围逐渐
趋于明确了 , 即从最初几乎包括整个龙胆亚科的属 , 到今天已 限 于 少 数
属的合并与独立的问题了。 按照本世纪大多数学者的看 法 , 下 列 各 属 :

据此 , 龙胆属的范围应当是 : 一年生或多年草本。 根木质或肉质 , 主
.根单丫或须状。 茎 (或花茎 ) ` 直立 , 斜上升或铺散 。 叶对生 , 稀轮生 , 在
多年生的种类中 , 不育茎的叶常呈莲座状。 复聚伞花序、 聚伞花序或单花 ,
花两性 , 4 一 6 数 , 稀 6 一 7 数 , 花薯筒形或钟形 , 浅裂 , 曹 筒 内 面 具
曹内膜 , 薯内膜高度发育呈筒形 , 或退子匕 仅保留在裂片间稍下方呈三角
袋状 , 花冠筒形 、 漏斗形或钟形 , 常浅裂 , 稀分裂较深 , 致使冠筒与裂片
等 一长或较短 , 裂片间具褶 , 摺极小至大小裂片 , 花冠裂片在蕾 中右 向旋
卷 , 雄蕊着生于花冠筒部 , 与裂片互生 , 花丝基部增宽并向冠筒下延成翅 ,
花药背着 , 子房一室 , 花柱明显 , 一般较短 , 有时较长呈丝状 , 柱头分离
成合生 , 腺体小 , 多达 10 个 , 轮状着生于子房基部 。 茹果 2裂 。 种 子小 ,
甚多 , 表面具细网纹` 增粗网纹或具蜂窝状或海绵状网隙 , 多无翅 , 稀有
如或幼时有狭翅 , 老时翅退化。
二 、 属下分类系统的讨论
由于本属的范围一直处于不断的划分之中, 因此属下分类系统也是众
说纷云 , 莫衷一是。 我们不准备顺序的 、 逐个的评论每个系统 , 而是择其
要者加以讨论 。 (见表 )

a e h 在 1 8 3 9 年发表 T 龙胆属专著 ,在属下成立 T 1 2个组 (S e e t i -
o n)
, 共记载 12 5种。 后于 48 4 5年进一步完善 了他的专著 , 增加 8 组 , 总计
1副胜, · 1 53 种。 但 其中有 8 个组不属千现代的龙胆属 , 而是假龙胆 一 类。
所余 7 组应隶本属 , 但它们之中有 4 个组是晚出异名 。 他虽然也注意到了

花冠裂片间摺的有无 , 但他并没有以此为根据 , 将广义的龙胆属分为两个
亚属 。 他的这一属下系统确立 了广义的龙胆属的范围也得到 了以后研究者
的承认 。

u s n e z o , ( 18 9 8 ) 是继 G r i s e b a e h 之后 , 又一个对龙胆属 的 研 究
作出了卓越贡献的学者 , 他的著作在龙胆属的研究上是划时代的 , 莫定了
现代龙胆属 (狭义的 ) 的分类基础 。 他持的是广义的观点 , 首先建立了两
个亚属 : 真龙胆亚属 S u b g e n . E u夕e n t i a , a 和假龙胆亚属 S u b g e n . G e : t卜
。肋“ a 。 前者花曹有曹内膜 , 花冠裂片间有褶 , 腺体位于子房基部 , 后 者
花尊无曹内膜 , 花冠裂片间无褶 , 腺体位于冠筒基部 。 在真龙胆亚属下建
立了 10 个组 , 记载 182 种 。 他的研究不仅明确了龙胆属的范围 , 也确立了
属下分类系统的基础 , 而且得到植物分类学者的普遍承认和应用 。 其不足
之处是有 4 个组名为晚出异名 , 个别组如 S e c t . 1 5 , 。 ir a K。 : n e: . 的划
分不很合理 , 代表种 G改 it 翻 a d即 le as D . D on 等是多年生具匆旬茎的类
群 , 而又 因种子结构相似列入了一年生 的 G e n r i a , a d e l a , a 梦` F r 。 n 。 h . 。
两者体态差异之大 , 使人一望而知 , 后者应当归于别的组中。 假龙胆亚属
油于材料不足 , 而未加以研究 。

角属下系统 , 但他将 C匆 , f u记 i a W a l l . 和 T r i乡t e r o sp e r。 。 m B l u m e 并
于龙胆属 , 作为二个组是极不自然的 。 这一归并未被他人 接 受 。 虽然 如
此 , 但他记载了 1 56 种 , 组下系统也较为详尽。
rP in g le ( 19 78) 对龙胆属属下等级的名称进行了总结性的整理 和 订
正 。 他的观点与 K su ne z o w 的真龙胆亚属的范围一致 , 但认为 G“ lt’ an le la

o e n e五. 等 7 属是独立的属。 他承认 S e e t . K u doa ( M a s a m u n e ) S a t a k e
` t T o 了o k “ n i e x T o 了o k “ n i 是独立的组 。 但该组仅有 i 种 , 前人曾并于

茎 , 花茎在开花后死亡 。
我们应当特别提到的是 H . S m i t h ( 10 6 1) 的工作 , 他对 S e e t . F , i夕i d a
进行了详尽的研究 , 首次提出在多年生种类中应当使用分枝方式作为分类
标准 , 并依此将该组分为单轴分枝和合轴分枝两个 亚 组 , 孙 c t . F r i g i da
S汕必 ` t 一均 , o夕心 i a e 和 s u b s e o t . s , 二 p o而 a e 。 但这 一 处理方法并没有分清本来就很庸杂的该组 , 反而过多的使用了系 、 亚系等级 , 显得过于繁
顶 , 也并不自然与合理。
我们对前人的属 下分类系统进行了比较研究 , 结合属内各主要性状的
详细观察结果 , 以 K us n e : 。 w 的属下分 类系统为基础 , 经过修改 、 补允
将国产龙胆属的 247 种分为 1 组 。
在多年生种类中 , 依分枝方式 , 结合体态及种子表面结构等 , 将庞杂
角 、 仅仅依据种子表面结构而建立的 S e c t . F石厉da 分为三组 , 即 S o c t 。 .

三 、 建立属下分类系统的主要依据
总观前人建立属下分类系统的主婪依据 , 以及我们对中国龙胆属大量
标本及野外对活植物的观察 , 主要的分类特征如下 ,

。 习性 : 本属植物分为一年生或多年生两大类 。 一 年生 植 物 根 木
质 , 单一 , 无莲座状叶丛 , 大部分种类低矮 , 花小 , 果有翅 , 种子具细网
纹 。 多年生植物根肉质 , 主根单一或为须状 , 分散或粘结 , 有 莲 座 状 叶
丛 , 部分种类具根茎或旬旬茎 。 仅 S e o t . 少en : m。。 , 玄加 的种类无莲座状
叶丛。 伴随恃征是花通常较大 , 果无翅 , 如果果有翅 , 则植株必定 矮 小 ,
花也小 。

. 分枝方式 : 多年生种类的分枝方式是一个稳定而又易于鉴别 的 性
状 , 可以做为分类依据 。 分 枝方式可分 为两类 。
1) 单轴分枝 : 植株中心具 1 个不育茎 , 不育茎低矮 , 叶密集成 莲座
状或因不育茎伸一长, 分 枝而形成数个莲座状叶丛 J 花茎由莲座叶丛外围叶
腋中抽出 , 节问长 叶疏离 。 (图版 1 )
a) 多年枝单轴型 : 不育茎低矮 , 莲座叶丛不甚发达 , 花茎 当年不死亡
(部分处于营养状态 ) 。 此型仅见于 S e e t . O t o p h o la S e r . D e 乙 o l a t “ e

b) 匆旬茎状合轴型 : 侧芽发育成花茎 。 开花后 , 花茎不死亡 , 平卧或甸

. 种子 . 种子表面具细网纹或增粗网纹 , 蜂窝状或海绵状网隙 , 周集
或一端具翅 , 或幼时具翅 , 老时退化等是分组的可靠性状 , 但 不是 绝 对
的 。 例如 S e c t . p h夕I l o c a l , x和 S e e t 二 S r e n o夕梦 n e种子周缘具翅 , 但表面结 -
构却完全不同。

. 花 : 花有大型 (长 4 一 7 厘米 ) 、 中型 ( 长2 . 5一 4 厘米 ) 和小型
(长 0 . 7一 , 域朱 , 之分 。 花冠在绝大多数种类中是浅裂 , 冠筒远长于 裂
片 , 但在 S e “ t . o toP hOl a 中 , 花冠深裂 , 冠筒与裂片等长或较短 , 这一点
与本属模式种 G o nt ian a uI t ea L . 极为近似 。 花冠摺的发达程度很不一致。

O t o Ph o ar 的褶甚小 , 耳形 , 附生于裂片一侧 , 相反 S e e t . C h o ” d : o ·
P勺 l a 的摺大 , 甚至大于裂片 , 整齐 , 着生于花冠裂片之间。 这两组的摺
是龙胆属褶的发展 -日为两个极端 , 其它各组均介于二者之间。 褶全缘 、 顶
端具齿或成流苏状 , 在分系上有一定意义 。 花柱的长短 , 裂片联合或否在
分组及分种上很有价值。

. 果实 : 在 S e o t . C h。。 d lo 乡甸 “ a 中果实先端具宽翅 , 两侧边缘具狭
翅 , 成为该组特有的分类性状 。 其它各组的果实均无翅 , 仅在形状上有差
异。
以上特征作为分组的标准是可行的 。 但仅凭某一点来分组 却 是 不 行
的 。 S e c t . F汀ig d a 其所以庞杂 , 原因就在于仅仅是依据种 子特征 , 而未
结合其它特征。
其它 , 诸如体态 , 叶对生或轮生 , 花曹裂片形状 , 花杖上花的多少等
在分系上均有价值。
四 、 ` 日产龙胆属属下分类系统怠览
龙胆属共有 1 4 组。 其 中仅 有 s 组 , 即 S e e t . G e , t i a : a , S e c t , .
C i沉 i n a l i s ( A d a n s 。 ) D “ rn o r t 。 和 S e e t C a l a i h i a n a e F r o e l . 我国不
产 , 为欧洲和美洲的特有组。 国产的 1 组中, 除 S e c t p ne u二呱 an ￡he 我
国种类较少外 , 其它各组 或 为 我 留特有 或 者 种 类 较 多 , ’居 各 国 之 .
