Abstract:In order to obtain feasible application endophytic bacterium agents, twelve kinds of agents were made respectively by putting the endophytic bacterium strain XG32, DLJ1 and DP24 into carrageenan, polyvinyl alcohol-sodium alginate (PVA-SA), peat and rice chaff. Colonizing dynamics of the bacterium marked with rifampicin were investigated in pepper seedlings. Meanwhile, the growth-promotion and control efficacies also were tested via potted plantlets. The results indicated that carrageenan and peat were more suitable to make entophytic bacterium agents than the other two carriers, the number of bacterium absorbed in carrageenan and peat reached 108 CFU/g, then declined to 106 CFU/g after 12 months. The colonization capacity of entophytic bacterium in plant remained unchanged when the bacterium were made into agents. The plant height, root length, fresh height and dry weight of the plant treated with carrageenan and peat agents were promoted significantly when compared to the control treatment, especially the dry weight increased from 109.03% to 140.63%. The efficacies of the carrageenan and peat agents against Phytophthora capsici were 75.0%-84.2%.
