Abstract:To establish a rapid and effective method for evaluation of cabbage resistance to Fusarium wilt, the inoculation concentrations, methods, development stages of seedling, fungus age and suitable temperature were screened and compared with pot experiment in glasshouse. At the same time, 108 accessions of cabbage Brassica oleracea L. breeding materials from different geographic origins were evaluated for resistance to Fusarium wilt with the optimum method. The results showed that the suitable inoculation method was that seedling roots after the soil was shaken off were dipped in spore suspension of 106 spores/mL at 2-3 leaf age of cabbage at 25-30℃. More than 40 sources of resistance to Fusarium wilt were obtained from 108 cabbage breeding materials. The method for evaluation of resistance in cabbage to Fusarium wilt at the seedling stage can accurately identify the resistance to Fusarium wilt.
