Abstract: This paper aims at studying the effects of Lentinus Edodes root waterextraction on rape seed vigor. The results show that the waterextraction soaking treatments significantly improve rape seed vigor. Under 4℃ low temperature stress, the 0.005 mg/L Lentinus Edodes root waterextraction treatment significantly increases germination rate of rape seeds, and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, peroxidase (POD) activity, soluble sugar content, soluble protein content and chlorophyll content of rape leaves. The content of membrane lipid peroxidation product (MDA) is observably decreased which indicates that the waterextraction soaking treatment can functionally improve rape seedlings coldresistance. Furthermore, the ability of herbicide resistance of rape seeds could be enhanced by the 0.005 mg/L Lentinus Edodes roots waterextraction treatment as well.
