犃犫狊狋狉犪犮狋:Manyresearchersfoundthatstressenvironmentinducedtheformationofpolyploidyplant.Sim
ultaneously,itmightbethestressthatactedasakeyfactortoselectpolyploidyplantstosurviveinthat
rigidenvironment.Thesizeofcelsandorgansinpolyploidyplantswerealwayslarger,butnotofthesize
ofthewholeplant.Polyploidyplantshadincreasedresistanceinsomemajorstressenvironmentssuchas
lowtemperature,hightemperature,drought,salinityandpathogenicstress.Theelevatedresistanceto
stresswasachievedduetochangingtheceldimensionandstructure,changingthemembranesystem,en
hancingtheosmoticsubstances,elevatingtheactivityofantioxidativesystem,alteringthegeneexpressing
andepigeneticchanges.However,therewerealsoresearchersshowedthatthestressresistanceof
polyploidyplantswasshrunkdown.Wecouldnotilustratethe mechanism ofstressresistanceof
polyploidyplantsunlessdomoredetailedstudies.Thisarticlepresentsareviewontheformationandchar
acteristicsofpolyploidyplantsanditsresponseandregulationmechanismsunderstressconditions.
