material.Thesurvivalratesandrelatedrootmorphologyoftestedvarietieswereobservedandcomparedby
varianceanalysis,correlationanalysisandclusteranalysis.Theresultsshowedthatthesurvivalratesand
therootcharacteristicsofdifferentalfalfavarietieswereobviousdifferenceafterlowtemperaturestress.
Thesurvivalratewassignificantorextremelysignificantpositivecorrelatedwiththediametersoftaproot
andlateralroot,negativecorrelatedwithlateralrootposition,notcorrelatedwithlateralrootnumber.
Thebiologicalproductionwasextremelysignificantpositivecorrelatedwithtaprootlength,taprootdiame
ter,lateralrootdiameterandlateralrootnumber,wassignificantlynegativecorrelatedwithlateralroot
position.Thesurvivalratedecreasedasthetimeofchilingstressincreasing.Therefore,‘GongnongNo.
