Abstract:The results obtained from the present study are quite different from previous reports on the karyotype of Chinese sacred-lily (Narcissus tazetta vat. chinensis Roem). Among‘a‘ chromosomes, form of one of the chromosomes is obviously different from the other two. Three g-chromosomes all have satellite at their short arm, but the form and size of S3 are obviously different from S1 and S2. The authors suggest that Chinese sacred-lily is probably a segmental allotriploid.
