摘 要 ：对点苍山地区的植物采集始于19世纪后期，最早有法国人J．M．Delavay, 于1883—1890年间在大理王丽江等地进行了大规模的采集。后有英国人G．Forrest于1904一1931年及 F．Kingdon Ward于1911—1922年来云南大量采集期间都曾涉足过大理。因而以苍山为模式产地发表的植物种类是不少的。我国老一辈植物学家钟观光（1919）、蒋英（1930）、陈谋和吴中伦（1933—34）、蔡希陶（1933）、王启无（1935）、吴温珍、杨承元、吴征镒（1938）、秦仁昌（1940）、刘慎谔（1940）、冯国楣等都曾在苍山或大理地区做过广泛的调查采集。解放以来，我所又数次到过该地区进行调查工作。

Abstract:Cangshan is situated at the juncture of Hengduan Mountains and Yunnan Plateau, between 25°30′-26°N and 99°50′--100°10′ E. It stretches along S-SE to N-WN. The mountain is 10 km. from the cast to the west and 50 km. from the south to the north. The highest peak is 4122 m above sea level and the relative altitude is 1000-2500 m. Cangshan is one of the younger mountains formed during the upheaval at the Quaternary Period.
