Abstract:The biosystematic relationship between Roegneria hondai Kitag. and R. pen-dulina Nevski in the tribe Triticeae Dum. were studied by means of genome analysis. Fl PMC had a mean configuration of 4.54 I +5.011 (ring) +6.491 (rod) +0.191 +0.04 IT, an irregular chromosome pairing in meiosis and completely no seed set. The dif-ference of genome and reproductive isolation between two species were observed. The evidence obtained from this study supported the morphological point of view that R. hondai and R. penduUna were independant good species.
