Abstract:The investigation was conducted to find out the effect of PGR-1 (spurting) on variations in the mineral contents and nutritive values of the leaf, flower and root of Arena eatechu in different phenophases of the year. The result shows that PGR-1 helps to expand th leaf ares of different leaf segments by 20.8 to 37.47cm2 and increase the dry matter by 4.66 to 6.56g, so as to promote the nutritive value of inflorescence and thus raise the flowering and fruitication rate.
