Abstract:It has been found that an animal model having deficiency in the spleen can be established by treating mouse with Dahuang mixture (Rhubarb, Mirabilite) intragastrically. The symptoms of the mouse include: loose stool, sluggishness, looseness of the hair, thin and bent back, loss of weight, lower temperature, indigestion and anorexia, and hypofunction of microcirculation of blood, etc.. Compared with healthy mouse, the ill mouse treated with Hongqi Jianzhong decoction or Sijunzi decoction has only little change in part of immunological indexes, and will recover faster than that without any treatment.
