Abstract:398 cases of upper digestive tract hemorrhage were treated with Zidi decoction, the cure rate being 93.1%, tetal effective rate 95.4%, and the average course of the stool occult blood test (SOBT) returning to negative reaction 4.06 days, The curative effect is better than that of the control groups treated respectively with rhubarb tablet, para-aminomethyl benzoic acid (PAMBA) and cimetidini (P<0.05, P<0.0l).
