Abstract:This paper reports the botanical origin, macroscopic and microscopic characteristics, physical and chemical identification, polysaccharide, total ash and acid-insoluble ash contents of Polyporus, thus providing a basis for the quality control of the drug as well as the revision of the relevant standard in Pharmacopoeia.
