乔治 · 福雷斯特在中国采集的杜鹃花属植物

摘 要 ：在历时二十八年的植物考察生涯中，乔治 ·福雷斯特曾 7次来华 ，为西方 园林和植物研究机构采集、
引种了大量的动、植物材料，在他所采集的中国杜鹃花标本中，曾被有关研究者作为新种描述的名称多达400余
个，至今仍有 150多种为众多研究者所接受。福雷斯特的采集是杜鹃花属分类和区系研究中非常重要的素材。

Abstract：From the first time he traveled to China in 1904 until his untimely death in Yunnan in 1932，George Forrest
made a total of seven trips plant hunting in the mountains of China．He colected large numbers of hitherto unknown
species，in living and herbarium specimens，for introduction to the western world．His collections included more than 400
Rhododendrons new to the science of the day．Even now，after al the advances in taxonomy，over 150 of those named
species are accepted，which must rank him among the most important plant colectors the world has ever seen．

在中国杜鹃花属植物的采集史 中，乔治 ·福雷斯
特(George Forrest 1873—1932)是一位非常重要 的人
物，从 1904年第一次被派往中国至 1933年死于他在云
南最后一次考察途中，历时二十八年的植物考察生涯，
曾7次来华，足迹几乎遍及中国西南地区，为西方植物
研究机构采集了 30 000多份干制标本，也为西方园林
界收集了 1 000多种活植物，其中不乏大量的杜鹃花。
乔治 ·福雷斯特采集的中国杜鹃花标本曾被作为新种
描述过的达 400多号，经过近百年的研究至今仍被接
受的名称有 150多种，这些种类的模式标本(主模式，
holotype)主要保存在英 国爱丁堡皇家植物 园标本馆
(E)，是从事杜鹃花分类、区系等领域研究的重要材料
和依据。这里对福雷斯特所采集的中国杜鹃花整理，
相信无论是对从事杜鹃花分类、区系和园艺研究还是
对植物采集史研究的有关人员都会有一定的帮助。

Gloeoporus PZP户^ 0r0 dP5 is cha／acterized by
its effused-reflexed basidiocarps，slightly ochra—
ceous to pinkish pores，a monomitic hyphal system
with simple septate generative hyphae and allantoid
basidiospores．
Gloeoporus dichrous also has effused—reflexed
basidioearps，but differs from G．￡ ZP ^ or0 d s by
the presence of clamp connections on generative
hyphae．In addition，G．dichrous is a cosmopolitan
species，while G． P^ZP 0^rD Ps is a pantropical
species，distributed in tropical or subtropical areas．
G．taxicola has similar microstructure with G．
eZep^ Dr0 Ps，but its basidiocarps are resupinate
and its pores are reddish brown． Skeletocutis
amorpha(Fr．：Fr．)Kot1．&Pouzar also has pileate
basidiocarps，fl gelatinous hymenophore and allan—
toid basidiospores，but its hyphal structure is dim—
itic with clamped generative hyphae(Nflfiez，2001)．
