Two-year-old Toona ciliata var. pubescens in Different Provenances

Abstract: The variances of photosynthetic characteristics of three provenances of two-year-old Toona ciliata var. pubescens
which from the Guanshan Nature Reserve, Matoushan Nature Reserve and Jiulianshan Nature Reserve were analyzed with Li-
6400 photosynthesis system measuring instrument. The result indicated: Under the high temperature glare, the Toona ciliata var.
pubescens provenance from Guanshan Nature Reserve has higher photosynthetic capacity than the other two provenances. The
diurnal variations of net photosynthesis rate Pn curve of Toona ciliata var. pubescens were “twin-peaked”curve, and the peak
value occurred at about 10:00 and 14:00. There was an obvious “midday depression”phenomenon in sunny situation.
Meanwhile, through compared the photosynthetic characteristics of the same provenance in a different month (August to
October), so September was the growth of a peak period of Toona ciliata var. pubescens.

油柿 Diospyros oleifera Cheng
油柿为柿科(Ebenaceae)柿属(Diospyros)植物,落
叶乔木;树皮深灰色,成薄片状剥落,露出白色的内皮。
冬芽芽鳞内面的密生棕色柔毛。叶纸质,长圆状倒卵形
或卵状椭圆形,长 6.5~17(20) cm,宽 3.5~10(12) cm,先
端短渐尖,基部圆形或不对称,边缘稍背卷;叶背被黄
褐色长糙毛。叶柄长 0.6~1.0 cm。花雌雄异株或杂性。
雄花:聚伞花序腋生,花萼 4裂;花冠壶形,4裂;雄蕊
16~20枚,着生在花冠基部,每 2枚合生成对,花丝有
长硬毛;花梗长约 0.2 cm。雌花:单生叶腋,长约 1.5
cm;花萼钟形,长约 1.2 cm,4裂深至中部,裂片长约 7
mm,先端骤短渐尖,两侧向背面反曲;花冠壶形,长约
1 cm,4深裂,裂片长约 8 mm,先端向后反曲;退化雄蕊
12~14枚,着生花冠管基部,有长柔毛。子房密被长伏
毛,8(10)室。果直径约 5 cm,果具明显油质和毛;果形
状多变,卵形、球形或扁球形;宿存花萼在花后增大,4
深裂,外面密生灰黄色长柔毛,内面密生伏绢毛,裂片
长约 1.2~1.5 cm,两侧向背后反曲;果柄粗短,长
0.8~1.0 cm。花期 4~5月,果期 8~10月。
油柿分布浙中部以南,皖南部、赣、闽、湘、粤北部
和桂。江西奉新甘坊、黎川德胜关、会昌板坑、马头山、
赣江源、武功山等有自然分布,可作庭荫树及行道树,
通常栽培在村中、果园、路边、河畔等温暖湿润肥沃处,
海拔 200~650 m。
