Abstract:A variety of cis-acting elements have been found in plant promoters, such as TATA-box, CArG-box and G-box. Some promoters are induced by physiological and enviromental factors, including hormone, wounds, stress and fungi. Others are tissue or developmental stage specific. Here we present the molecular characterizations of the plant promoters.
