Abstract:Data used in the paper were collected by field investigation, monitoring and relative references in the district of ecological tourism in Nankun Mountain. Based on these data the natural and social status of the district were assessed. Different functional areas were plotted out, and then index system and assessment standards were set.. Under single index assessment results, an fuzzy comprehensive assessment was performed for natural and social status of he district of ecological tourism in Nankun Mountain. The results showed that first class of assessment standard covered 0.749 of the district in Nankun Mountain by fuzzy membership functions. It meant that both ecological and social status had been very well and harmonious with tourism, ecological conservation and human activities. The pressure coursed by tourist amount was assessed as third class, a medium level, while the response mechanism of ecological tourism in the district was subordinated by 0500 for class I with assessment of fuzzy membership functions. It showed the response capacity for environmental impact of ecological tourism had been relative strong, meant able to treat with the current pressure. The assessment results should be helpful for management of ecological tourism in Nankun Mountain, and decision support of sustainable development of ecological tourism in Nankun Mountain.
