Abstract:Temperature measurements at the canopy gap of a secondary forest were conducted in Xishuangbanna,Yunnan in dry season.The results showed that there was a significantly thermal effect at the gap,and the maximum air temperature and the diurnal range of air temperature in the gap was quite different.The extreme value was on the east edge of gap,and it may be a reason to form the special microclimate in the gap.The results supplied a basis in further studying canopy gap microclimate and the relevant ecological ...
