Abstract:The effect of five mercury compounds (HgS, HgO, CH3HgCl, C8H8O2Hg) on the growth of development of rice and wheat and their accumution in crops have been studied in this experiment. The results show that injuries caused by C8H8 O2Hg are generally more severe than those of HgCl2 and CH3HgCl, and HgS is the least harmful.The degree of inhibition of different mercury compounds on the transpiration of rice shows that the toxicity of C8H8O2Hg is larger than HgO,the toxicity of HgS is the least, and that the phot...
