Abstract:The charecteristics of purification and accumulation of silver in waste water by aquatic plants is dealt with in this paper, revealing the conditions where this process occurs. The results show that the different aquatic plant has different purification effeciency in the order: Submerged hydrophytes > Floating and Floating-leaved hydrophytes > Emergent hydrophytes; and the aquatic plants with developed root system > the aquatic plants with undeveloped root system; but their resistant ability to silver is : ...
