Abstract:Abstract:Sheep bone powder was sequentially hydrolyzed by papain and trypsin. Carbon expurgation test, MTT(thiazoyl blue tetrazolium bromide) colorimetric method and quantitative hemolysis of SRBC test were used to evaluate the effect of the prepared hydrolysate on mice innate immunity, cellmediated immunity (CMI) and humoral immunity, respectively. The results indicated that the hydrolysate at low dose(05g/kg·d, ig,14d)significantly enhanced the carbon clearance ability of macrophagocytes compared with the control group(P<005),but hydroly sate at medium dose (1g/kg·d, ig,14d)and high dose(3g/kg·d, ig,14d)were observed no significant differences compared with contol. These medium and high dose remarkably increased the amount of antibodyproducing cells in the spleen, and the low dosage would not. 001mg/ml hydrolysate significantly improved the ConA induced proliferation of spleen T cells (P<005). It is concluded that appropriate dose of sheep bone hydrolysate could improve the nonspecific immunity, cellmediated immunity and humoral immunity.
