Abstract:The nectaries in Dracocephalum nutans Linn. were located on receptacles under the ovary. The disk nectar upper split into four pieces a list, base in swollen reflexed round the lap cup-shaped receptacle. The nectary composed of secretory epidermis, nectariferous tissue and vascular bundles, which was typical structural nectary. Histochemistry stain indicated that the starch grain exhibited a regular change, hence the nectary belonged to starch nectary. During the development of nectaries tissue, the vacuole occured regular change and the starch grains and protein decreased and increased regularly. The nectar was secreted out through stomata and cuticle.
