Abstract:Summary 1. In present paper Corydalis Sect. Racemosae Fedde including 3 species and 2 varietes is revised. In spite of it is a small section, but distr- ibuted in a vast regions in China and Japan.2. Sect. Racemosae Fedde was established by Fedde in Fedde, Repert. 20:62. 1924 and companied with a Key including 6 species (C. racemosa, C. giraldii, C. fumaria, C. handelmazzetti, C.balansae and C.lofouensis). In 1936, he reduced the section into a subsection and placed under Sect. Eu- corydalis Prantl sensu Fedde. Here he added a heterogeneous species C. edulis Maxim. in it and rewrote the diagnosis, in which some inportant characters (e. g. color of flowers) had a mind to be omitted. Fedde‘s diagnosis is so confused with other short-calcar groups (e. g. Subsect. Strictae Fedde etc. )that he could not make a key for them. (Engler et Prantl, Pflanzenfam. 2 ed.,17b: 129 note 3 ). It should be revised again as in present paper. By the aid of mode of branching, shape of stigma and capsulae it is easy to differ Sect. Racemosae from other short-calcar groups (Subsect. Strictae, Thalictrifoliae sensu Fedde and Sect. Sophorocapnos sensu Popov).
