simpleandsensitiveHPLCDADwasdevelopedforsimultaneousdeterminationof10stilbenesinpeonysamples,ie,sufruticosolA,
sufruticosolB,sufruticosolC,transresveratrol,cisεviniferin,transεviniferin,cissufruticosolD,cisgnetinH,transsufruticosolD
andtransgnetinHAtthesametime,thescavengingactivityofDPPHfreeradicalswasemployedtoevaluatetheirantioxidantefect
Theresultsshowedthatthe10stilbenesaremainlypresentinpeonyseedcoat(totalcontentofmorethan167%)comparedtopeony
seedkernel(totalcontentlessthan03%),andcanbeenrichedintheextractofpeonyseedcoat(totalcontentofmorethan75%)
Theextractofpeonyseedcoatand10stilbenesexhibitedsignificantantioxidantpropertiesThisworkprovidesafoundationforcompre
