Abstract:The influence of Zhuangling Agent to the metablism of lipid in healthy old rats has been studied. The results indicate that the agent can decrease the level of serum total cholesterol, lowdensity lipoprotein low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and peroxilipid and meanwhile can increase serum superoxide-dismutase and enhance the activity of acid phosphatase in some parts of the tissues. The result suggests that Zhuangling Agent possibly has an effect of anti-arteriosclerosis.
