The Chemical Constituents of Duzhong (The Bark of Eucommia ulmoides Oilv.)

Abstract:Seven constituents have been isolated from the bark of Eucommia ulmoides Oliv. Based on spectral analysis and determination of Physico-chemical constants they have been identified as: nonacosane (Ⅰ), n-triacontanol (Ⅱ), β-sitosterol (Ⅲ), betulin (Ⅳ), betulic acid (Ⅴ), ursolic acid (Ⅵ), vanillic acid (Ⅶ).
