Abstract:Influenceofnitrogensource,growthfactorandheatshockafectingfermentationcharacteristics
ofamutantstrainClostridiumacetobutylicumXY16wereinvestigated.Theresultsshowedthatinorganic
nitrogensourceammoniumacetatewasmoresuitableforfermentationcomparedwithothernitrogen
sources.Cornsteepliquororzeincouldreplacegrowthfactors;heatshocktoXY16couldenhancetotal
solventproductionwith2128g/L.Inaddition,themutantXY16couldutilizeglucoseandxyloseatthe
sametime,thexylosecouldbeeficientlyusedaftertheglucosewasusedup.
